A key component of Ecoglen’s mission is to encourage  recreational use of the conservancy.

This aspect of our mission will be addressed  through the provision of appropriate infrastructure designed to enhance the overall experience of a visit to Ecoglen.

This will include things such as parking areas, waste-disposal points, educational sign-boarding , and bird hides.

 Our first steps in this regard were the creation of ‘reflection points’ off the new pathways in the Moreleta Reserve. We hope that these ‘reflection points’ will encourage people to take a walk in the reserve and spend a few quiet moments  absorbing the peaceful atmosphere of Ecoglen.

We plan to install additional reflection points throughout both the Moreleta and Waterkloof reserves as and when funding permits.
